BookALoctician.com is a referral and matching platform that connects clients with independent locticians and natural hair professionals.

BookALoctician.com does not perform hair services and is not a salon, hair service provider, employer, staffing agency, manager, or supervisor of locticians.

All services are performed solely by independent locticians operating independently from BookALoctician.com.

By using this website, submitting a form, requesting a booking, accepting a referral, communicating through the platform, or completing payment, users agree to these Terms, Booking & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and Accessibility Statement.

All matching fees, referral fees, platform fees, administrative fees, commissions, subscriptions, and related platform charges paid to BookALoctician.com are non-refundable.

Matching fees are charged after a suitable loctician has been identified and before contact information is exchanged.

The matching fee compensates BookALoctician.com for client matching, referral services, communication, administrative processing, and platform operations.

Matching fees are earned upon identification of a suitable loctician match and are nonrefundable.

BookALoctician.com does not guarantee:
• loctician availability
• appointment acceptance
• exact appointment timing
• hairstyle outcomes
• specific hairstyle results
• replacement services
• uninterrupted platform access

Clients understand and agree that all disputes regarding hair services, hairstyle results, cancellations, delays, dissatisfaction, allergic reactions, scalp irritation, hair damage, missed appointments, refunds, injuries, losses, product reactions, or service-related concerns must be handled directly between the client and the independent loctician.

BookALoctician.com is not responsible for damages, injuries, allergic reactions, hair loss, scalp irritation, dissatisfaction, delays, missed appointments, disputes, cancellations, property damage, product reactions, losses, or outcomes related to services performed by independent locticians.

Payments made directly to independent locticians are solely between the client and the loctician.

Each loctician independently determines their own pricing, services, availability, scheduling policies, cancellation policies, business practices, and methods of performing services.

If a loctician becomes unavailable, BookALoctician.com may attempt to assist with a rematch but does not guarantee replacement services or appointment fulfillment.

BookALoctician.com may remove users, locticians, referrals, listings, accounts, or platform access at its sole discretion.

Platform payment arrangements may include matching fees, referral fees, platform fees, commissions, percentage-based splits, flat fees, subscriptions, or custom written payment agreements.

Locticians agree not to bypass BookALoctician.com by accepting direct bookings or direct payment arrangements from referred clients outside the agreed platform process unless written authorization is provided.

Locticians agree to honor all written payment agreements with BookALoctician.com.

Locticians may be charged a referral fee for client referrals accepted through BookALoctician.com.

Referral fees are only due if the loctician chooses to accept the client referral and proceed with the booking process.

Referral fees are separate from client matching fees and may vary based on the service requested, booking value, location, or other factors determined by BookALoctician.com.

Each loctician is solely responsible for:
• services performed
• tools
• products
• sanitation
• communication
• scheduling
• pricing
• licensing where applicable
• insurance where applicable
• cancellations
• refunds
• injuries
• damages
• disputes
• hairstyle outcomes
• legal compliance

Locticians are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, partners, representatives, or joint ventures of BookALoctician.com.

Locticians agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BookALoctician.com, its owners, affiliates, representatives, contractors, employees, successors, and partners from any claims, liabilities, disputes, damages, losses, expenses, legal fees, injuries, complaints, regulatory matters, or service-related issues arising from their conduct, services, products, communication, cancellations, appointments, or business activities.

BookALoctician.com limits liability to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Terms, policies, platform features, payment structures, and platform operations may be modified or updated at any time without prior notice.
